Cassie Hancock

There are people who walk into your life, and it's never the same.

Cassie is one of those people for me.

She was my freshman roommate at UNCW. I remember being nervous about a roommate because of all the horrible roommate stories I was told. But that was not the case for me.

Cassie and I instantly became best friends & we did pretty much everything together. Classes, walks to class, meals, workouts, studying, etc.

There are so many great memories that I have, and a lot of them include Cassie.

Cassie is a woman with a huge heart. She is someone that puts others feelings over her own, and pours her heart into everything that she does. Not only that, but she is one of the most creative and artistic people I have ever met. So, when she decided to teach, I could tell that she had finally found the career that she wanted to pour her whole heart into.

I could not have been more honored to take these photos for my best friend. She is going to be a phenomenal teacher. If you don't believe me, just talk to her about the kids she's been working with, and you will see the love that she has for them and teaching. I know Cassie will inspire her future students, just like she has inspired me throughout the time that I have known her.

She will be graduating in December with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a concentration in Psychology!
